WikiVillage
[edit]On Sunday, October 24, we installed the 31 QR code plaques and the map of the Galičnik bulletin board. The village of Galičnik itself is listed as cultural as Cultural Heritage of Macedonia, but also 60 houses, built in traditional Galičnik style. Hence only 31 houses survived the test of time, we made 31 plaques with QR codes leading to an article of a certain house. The houses have QR codes of the Macedonian and the English article. In the center of the village, we installed the bulletin board that shows the map of Galičnik indicating the locations of the houses of cultural heritage. With our engagement, the houses now are highlighted and we brought the dwellers of Galičnik and tourists closer to Wikipedia.
