Editing Days

On the first day of the month, just like 2021, "Roman Provinces" was on and two articles were created by one user. On 3rd, the "Amulets and Talismans" ED was organized which resulted with one new article by one participant. Again at music, "Works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart" was scheduled on 8th, which was an edition that produced seven new articles and one new template from four Wikipedians. Two days later, it was a day for the topic "Archaeological Sites in Kavadarci Region" that got summarized with 62 new articles and seven improved articles by three men. Next ED, being "Plays by Edward Albee", got participated by two people who created four brand new articles. Then on 17th, "Paintings by Alfred Sisley" got realized and attracted three users that made seven new articles and one new template. "Crowns" was participated by three Wikipedians and it ended with six new articles and one new template. The last editing day, on 24th, was on the subject "Volcanoes in Central America", got eight newly established articles by four men.

The outcome in February was 98 new articles, seven improved articles and 1 created template.

Botanic Garden Skopje Photoshoot

On February 2, an activist of Shared Knowledge went to the Botanic Garden at the Institute of Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. According to the plan, various plants needed to be photographed. On that day, accompanied with four staff members, it was managed to be photographed 61 species with a total of 192 images ready to use in articles. Also, the Botanic Garden itself and its facilities were photographed during the almost 4 hour photoshoot. An article, about the Garden itself, was created on February 16.

Editing Weekends

The first Editing Weekend titled "China" resulted with 19 new articles by three participants. Then it was "Winter Olympic Games", held during the 2022 Winter Olympics, and was attended by four users who contributed in ten new articles and one improved article. The "Medalists of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games" attracted five people who contributed by editing 11 new articles. The last weekend was 'busy' with the topic "Composers" that got participated by four users, covering 19 new articles.

The outcome in February was 59 new articles, one improved article.

From January 15 to February 5, just like in 2021, we organized a special editing contest exclusively for inserting references in articles where they lacked. The participants were advised to cover the articles which had no any references, but also they could have edit articles with small amount of references, in order to back up the content of the article itself. Four people participated in this event and added 1,182 references in 1,026 different articles. Those four participants, as intended, got prized based on their contribution of added refs and covered articles. Two participants qualified for getting a prize voucher.

Wikiexperiments

On 15th, editing was engaged on articles that were thematically related to the biological experiments recorded in September 2021. In that point, three articles were improved.

Photohunts

The first photohunt of the year, was held during February. From 23rd to 26th, two new 'photohunters' made photoshoot of many places in the town of Kruševo. They were able to cover the cultural sites of Macedonia in the town that did not have images on Commons, but also they covered places such as the neighburhoods of the town, its churches, public and educational institutions. Within this Photonunt, 23 articles were created and another 15 articles were improved.

Editing Competitions

The Editing Competition was titled "Oceanography" and this topic was deliberately was chosen due to lacking articles in this field. In started on January 29 and ended on February 28. Five users competed on this editing challenge and they were able to cover 105 articles - all of them created.
