Editing days

The first day on the month happened to be the "Archaeological Sites in Kratovo Region" Editing Day. That time, four people participated and created 24 articles. The second editing day was titled "Dramas by Bertolt Brecht" and two people participated and they created ten articles and one new template. On 9th, we covered the World Heritage in "World Heritage Sites in Southern Asia". That day was conducted by two men with results of five new articles and one that was improved. "Paintings by El Greko" was organized on 14th, and nine articles got created, with additional one new template for his works. Two days later we held "Archaeological Sites in the Kriva Palanka Region". The editing was consisted of three persons that made 27 new articles and it has to be noted that all enlisted archaeological sites within this region got covered. On 21th, "Nobel Peace Prize laureates", just like last year, was on and one man participated and created 3 brand new articles. On 24th, "Provinces of Spain" was scheduled and the results were five new articles out of two persons. Five days later, the "Paintings by Raphael" accumulated 13 new articles and one new template by three participants. On the 30th, the last editing day has been occurred, named "World Heritage Sites in Western Asia" which was attended by one Wikipedian who produced two new articles.

Editing weekends

This month we started with "Libraries" which resulted in 12 new articles by three men. The next was local content focused, called "Mayors in Macedonia (2021-2025)". That one gathered two Wikipedians that created seven articles and additionally improved three articles. 18th and 19th was dedicated for "Australia" and was covered by three users who created five articles and one was being improved. The last weekend of 2021 was named "Festivals" and was participated by five users who enriched Wikipedia with 22 new articles.

Professors Mentorship

On December 6, two professors were part of this activity. The first one is high school history professor who teaches at the Mathematical-Computer Science Gymnasium in Skopje. He got introduction to basic knowledge in editing at Wikipedia. The second one is university professor at the Department of Piano at the private owned International University "Europa Prima", based in Skopje. The latter, beside getting mentorship, he was able to create one article and additionally two images were uploaded as result of this activity.

High School Students Training

Shared Knowledge managed to held a training lessons and editing event at the Mathematical-Compiter Science Gymnasium, the newest high school in Macedonia. Three classes on December 13, and two classes on December 20, were part of the training that included Wikipedia, skills using the wiki tool to translate existing articles into other language Wikipedias, as well as source editing where they can improve but also create articles. A total of 76 high school students listened to the training, along side the professor and two of our SK mentors, and 39 articles were created, while one was improved. The covered articles were mostly about geography, history, music, movies, automobiles, wild life, sports.

Editing Competition

The EC of 2021 lasted from November 15 to December 14. It was titled "Solar System" and the participants had a chase to create/improve content about celestial objects and related within our Solar System. Six people joined the contest and they were able to cover 320 new articles and eight improved articles.

Photographic Competition

The Macedonian Science Photography Competition 2021 was part of the international competition that aimed to encourage the public to take science-themed images and upload them on Wikimedia Commons, enriching it with content of this kind and bringing people closer to science. This competition lasted from November 1 to December 15. 21 competitors were part of this and they uploaded 126 images and one video.

Media Outreach

On 15th, one of our SK members had an interview with the radio station "Makedonsko Radio". In this interview is was discussed about the Macedonian Wikipedia, it's history and ranking among the other Wikipedias, the goal of Shared Knowledge and it's general and latest objectives and activities.

Veloexpeditions

During 2021 were held a several small veloexpeditions, and result is 56 uploaded images from different corners of the country.
