Editing Weekends

On April 2 and 3, traditional Editing Weekend titled "Romani Culture" got occurred in which one Wikipedian created six articles. The second weekend, we made the "Islam" edition and three people got included who have made eleven articles and one template, all new. On 16th and 17th, as part of the traditional ongoing international initiative "Wiki for Human Rights 2022", the weekend was titled "Environmental law" that was contributed with four new and one new template by one user. The next weekend, from 23th to 24th, we had the edition "Protection of the Environment" that gave 2 new articles by one participant. Also, this EW was part of "Wiki for Human Rights 2022".

The outcome in April was 23 new articles and two created templates.

Editing Days

The first editing day, by the name "Archaeological Sites at Kumanovo Region" was on April 5 and ended up with 35 articles, all of them new ones, by 4 participants. As, part of international initiative, the traditional editing day "Roma People", occurred on 7th, had two people who made four new articles. On 12th, we organized the Editing Day "Works by Antonio Vivaldi" and it resulted with nine new articles and one new template from participation of three Wikipedians. Next, on 14th, we had the topic "Danger Warning Signs" and one Wikipedian created five pages. Five days later, we turned our attention on on the art "Paintings by Pieter Breugel The Elder" ED that was attended by three participants who made five new articles and one new template. The sixth event named "Environmentalists" had one man who created six articles and improved one template. On 26th, we organized the editing day "Works by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe" and it resulted with one new article from participation of one Wikipedian.

The outcome in April was 65 new articles, one improved article, two created templates.

Professors Mentorship

On April 6, we organized an online Professors Mentorship. During the organization, every faculty was reached in order to invoke as much as possible university professors so that they can join the event. The event consisted of introduction to Wikipedia, introduction to Shared Knowledge and its activities, training lessons at editing on Wikipedia, and open invitation at professors participation at some of our activities, especially the ones from the Education Program. The number of participants was 21, including our two SK activists

WikiStand

This project was initiated in this month. Again, at the Skopje City Mall, we held a Wikipedian stand where regular people could join, get training lessons and create content. On the day of April 9, 18 total people (of which 12 registered) got involved in this activity. A specific theme was not fixed and by the free will of the participants, articles were created and improved about villages from Montenegro, mountains, anatomy, universities, neurology, music artists. Nine articles were created, as well as three articles that were improved.

WikiVillage

The project continued with covering in the English Wikipedia. Due to bilingual nature of the QR-plates, we need to create the lacking articles and on 18th and 19th, four articles were created about the old churches in the neighoburhood Novo Selo where the plaques wiil be placed.

MakSport

On April 5, the same person who uploaded the squad's images of KK Akademija FMP, now contributed and managed to upload their club logo.

On April 20, through our project "MakSport" which consists of photographing, collecting photos, creating and improving articles related to athletes, sports workers and sports buildings in Macedonia, we managed to visit the town of Kumanovo. On that occasion we were at the game between the basketball teams of Kumanovo 2009 and Angeli. In that occasion we individually photographed the players and the coaching staff of KK Kumanovo 2009, a group picture of both teams, moments from their training and the match itself. At the same time, the home hall of KK Kumanovo 2009 which is part of the High school "Pero Nakov", the school itself, the City Pool Kumanovo, the Sports Hall Kumanovo and the football field next to the Sports Hall Kumanovo were photographed. 86 images were taken and uploaded out of the venture in the town of Kumanovo.

CEE Spring 2022

Throughout entire April, he held the traditional CEE Spring 2022. In this edition three people were contesters and they were able to create 133 articles about various Central and Eastern European topics. All the competitors were prized by rank and two of them, one for best rated article award and another competitor for best continuous user award, were prized additionally according to the competition's plan.

Wikiexpeditions

The opening of the Wikiexpeditions season was on April 30, when four 'veteran' Wikimedians visited the Osogovo and Mangovica Mountains located in the eastern parts of the country.
