This is a brilliant idea, Brian! Following your comment on User_talk:Charles_Matthews#Notification_of_meets, I'm making this edit to see if it works. The only problem I foresee is that as the meetup draws nearer, there will be many edits to the page, so better be prepared for my mailbox to be flooded! Watching this page mysteriously does not work. I set it up with a manual watchlist edit first of all, and see now I am editing it that the 'watch this page' box is indeed checked. --Brian Josephson (talk) 11:03, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
