[edit]The pub is a short walk downhill in an almost straight line towards the sea from Brighton railway station.

Agenda
[edit]Informal chitchat with no set agenda. If the weather is reasonable, we may go for a walk after lunch to take photos. You can email Harry if you're arriving later and want to know where we are.
If you have some ideas for discussion topics, please put them below.
- Is there any enthusiasm for regular meetups or more structured events in Brighton? Would people like to see meetups or events elsewhere?

About the meet up

A social gathering for Wikimedia enthusiasts, where
- Some of us will drink beer, some will have soft drinks. Some might have lunch.
- We chat about Wikipedia and any other topics we fancy
- We might go for a walk (weather dependent!) and look at notable local features or move to another pub
Mainly a casual social event. You can expect to meet some very keen Wikipedians, however this is also an open invitation to anyone interested in finding out more about Wikipedia, other Wikimedia projects, projects re-using Wikipedia, and other collaborative wiki projects. Feel free to join us for as long or as little as you like.
Look for Wikipedia-themed hoodies or t-shirts. You can email Harry if you're not sure.
Location
[edit]The Bright Helm is a Wetherspoons pub on West Street, between the railway station and the seafront. The station is just under ten minutes' walk away. West Street is served by many buses heading for the station; many other buses stop within walking distance. There is a multi-storey car park next door. Wifi and food are available in the pub.
