To reduce potential clashes between campaigns
Requests must be made, at minimum, 14 days in advance of any campaign

Is it possible to do the State of Utah, US? At w:en:Wikipedia:Geonotice/list.json, we are using "corners" : [[38, -109], [42, -114.1]] for our coordinates.

Description - We plan to distribute a survey to capture the challenges faced by new Toolforge users during their tools' set up process. Users with this profile are not active in (or generally haven't joined yet) public communication channels or mailing lists, and we don't have express permission from them to be contacted. If CN admins could recommend a more suitable communication channel, we'll of course evaluate the option.
The survey will help us gather initial feedback about these users' experience, and recruit them for future in-depth interviews to validate a UI-based solution we've been working on. All in all, the goal is to collect insights to inform the design requirements of a proof of concept (Phabricator task: T381266)
Metrics - We'd like to get at least 10 valid responses to the survey and recruit a minimum of 5 participants from the same target group to participate in future usability testing sessions.
Google forms can't be a landing page for a banner. Per CentralNotice/Usage_guidelines#Banner_requirements, "Wikimedia Domains Only — Banners must link only to Wikimedia Foundation or Affiliate-controlled websites, except when using officially approved surveys (see below). They should not include trademarks owned by for-profit entities." Also, please reach out to your colleague's at the Foundation to agree on the usage of CN for survey's. Thanks for the helpful comments! The request was updated: I added further details regarding our goals and reflected latest decisions (e.g., use of LimeSurvey, change in campaign dates). Conversations with CN coordinators and survey specialists are taking place internally to validate the request or – in lack of approval – find suggestions for alternative channels aligned with our limitations. Once your CN coordinators have created both the banner as well as the campaign in line with the mentioned guidelines, volunteer CN admins can take a look. The campaign duration looks reasonable and WWikitech is a project which rarely receives banners, so once we hear that the survey itself has been approved, we should be able to give our approval as volunteer CN admins as well.

Per CentralNotice/Usage guidelines campaigns running longer than two weeks usually require community approval. Even if this is an established campaign, the unusually long duration should be discussed with the de(-AT) community.

I have changed the start date of the campaign in January from 1st to 7th, also talked about it with Christian. There was a problem last year with the banner conflicting with coordinates at the upper right corner of a page (difficult to see, not clickable), which I thought, I have fixed by adding some extra empty space below the banner. Looks good to me. I don't see a close button in the CN interface preview for some reason, but it works in the onwiki preview [3].
Restarting the banner cycle every week effectively means users will see the banner 12 times which seems a bit much to me. I suggest either limiting it to two impressions per cycle (= 8 total impressions in 3,5 weeks) or extending the cycle a bit, e.g. to 67435200 seconds (1.5 weeks -> 9 total impressions). I suggest trying to ping volunteer CN admins again for the GLAM request (those without ties to WMF or affiliates like WMDE). Perhaps checking the different CN logs [4] helps finding someone active. The backlog at CNR suggests, that most volunteer CN admins are currently busy, but given that it's just about approving the banner + campaign you created, there should be somebody who can spend 5 minutes to do that. Yes it is not a campaign. But rather a call for participation before the campaign which starts in March 2025.
Yes the language is mainly French. If we can add other languages to allow other communities of other language versions to see, that would be a good thing. It is up to *you to see what would be more effective.
As for the countries it is France and all the others the French-speaking countries, since it is the French-speaking world that we are talking about.
As for the banner yes you can help us in this direction to convert it.
As for the number of days, we prefer 14 days to avoid banner fatigue

The contest focuses on capturing and showcasing unique images that represent and document the intangible cultural heritage of various communities worldwide.
Structured with both national coordinators and an International Team, the campaign ensures comprehensive coverage. National coordinators, responsible for organizing Wiki Loves Folklore within their respective countries, play a vital role in fostering local participation. Simultaneously, the International Team steps in to organize the contest in countries lacking designated national coordinators, thereby addressing the representation gap within the Wikimedia ecosystem.

As of now, the anon campaign and non-anon campaigns only slightly differ in amount of display per days/weeks. Do you plan to have different landing pages for these groups? Because in previous years there was no difference for anonymous users. Please updates the accordingly or ping me for that

What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?
We'd like to continue the campaign from last year (request). The banner will only be running for two days before the first Wednesday of each month, and will be targeted to users with less than 100 edits.
Requests must be made, at minimum, 14 days in advance of any campaign
For normal requests, a central notice admin will close the discussion. In the areas of advocacy, the stewards team may be called upon to assess consensus.
