compatibility, transparency, portability
[edit]Please remove the following
<!-- mulitlingual users --> {{#if:{{{2|}}}|[[Category:Users {{{1}}} {{{2}}}|{{PAGENAME}}]]}}
from the template which is used in many projects of the Wikimedia Foundation with a well known meaning in all of the wikis.
If you feel that people want to emphasize that they are multilingual one should use another template. If you look at special:Prefixindex/category:Users you may see how inflationary this code can be. Best regards

- Fixed. I'd been wondering how to remove the red category from my userpage. Now I know. Thanks, Majorly (talk) 19:14, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
da Support requested please
[edit]Hi, I am new user here, who just created my first revision of my user page incorporating the {{Babel}} template. I am a native Dane, and I miss support for da in the template as can be seen on my user page. -- Slaunger 20:49, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
Instructions for Use
[edit]The instructions on this page are very unhelpful and need work. - Stillwaterising 23:20, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- This template is deprecated since February 2008. Use Template:User language instead. It was not made clear on the template, so I just added it. HenkvD 10:07, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

- I really don't like this outcome... The opposers never explained their arguments and just followed Billinghurst's unexplained rationale. Aaron Liu (talk) 12:49, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
