Neutral Helpful and active steward but communication really needs improving. It took months to get a response at Steward requests/Global/2022-w29#Global unlock for Eaglestorm and once he asked a question, he did not return when it was answered. It was another steward who actually went ahead and fulfilled the request after it being left for over 3 months, that appears to be largely down to the lack of communication from Tegel. I noted this in 2023. I noticed again while reviewing requests for unblock that this is an issue again at User talk:2600:387:5:80D:0:0:0:7F where Tegel was pinged over 2 weeks ago now but still hasn't given a response. I'm afraid I cannot vote to keep Tegel with this poor communication until it is addressed. --Ferien (talk) 16:53, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not trying to sway your vote or anything like that, just thought it might be worth noting with the 2022 situation, there was a ping and multiple talk page messages (see User talk:Tegel/Archive/2022#Steward requests/Global#Global unlock for Eaglestorm) but these didn't really impact Tegel's response time. --Ferien (talk) 20:22, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Comment As an svwiki user, on his talk page on svwiki he has usually been quick to answer me when I have contacted him there (e.g. here). I don't know what happened in this Meta-Wiki case (perhaps the notification was drained, or something similar). EPIC (talk) 20:31, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
They might have turned off notifications for mentions (which can be understandable when you're an LTA target but I don't think is the best idea when you're a steward/functionary and need to respond to potential queries regarding your area of accountability); however, that does not explain the talk messages being ignored. ~~~~
