Dear fellow Wikimedians! I’d like to present MarcoAurelio as possible new (old) checkuser to our community. After consulting with some of my fellow CUs on this project, we agreed that some help would be very benefitial and welcome. MA used to be a checkuser here until he resigned all his tools last year. Now that he is back and ready to take his old responsibility back, I’d like to nominate him for checkusership here. Many of you can surely remember him. He was always a very active admin, crat and also until he resigned one of our most active checkusers on this project. Now he is back and activ again and he could help us very well with those extra buttons. As a former CU and steward he has all the needed experience to help us on this project and as he already was a CU here, we know that he would fit very well into the current checkuser team. His old RfCU from 2009 can be found here, under his old username. To see that we could use the help, you can also take a look at the six months stats about CU tool usage here. Candidate's acceptance: When Barras asked me whether I would be interested in a CU nomination I was skeptical. I told him that I should think about it, so I did; and after a more than a week of thinking and some talks with my nominator, given that it seems there's a need for another community member to help, I have decided to accept this kind nomination, for which I should thank Barras for thinking on me. Now that's up to the community whether they would trust me again to perform this duty, for which I'd be glad. For those new or unaware, the reason of my past resignation/retirement can be found in the first paragraph of this request.
