area | The geographic area association to the metrics, this may be countries or territories, UN subcontinental regions, or UN continental regions. |
access | The area's relative rank status in terms of internet and information access. The higher the rank, the more advantaged the area is. |
access_growth | The percentile rank of the reference country's annual growth rate for internet and information access for the reference year |
access_presence | The percentile rank of the reference country's access to internet and information for the reference year |
affiliate_growth | The affiliate growth metric expressed as a percentile rank, based on new affiliate recognitions and categorical development. |
affiliate_presence | The percentile rank of affiliates presence in the referenced year and area, drawing on active affiliates, affiliate size, and affiliate tenure metrics |
affiliates_leadership | The affiliates leadership percentile rank drawing on the affiliate input measures based on counts, governance, tenure, grants, and size. |
country_code | Three-letter country code based on the ISO 3166-1 standard |
editor_growth | The percentile rank for annual growth of editors using triangulated editor domain signal metrics for the reference year |
editor_population_penetration | The proportion of the number of editors from the reference country's population, ranked |
editor_presence | The percentile rank of editors' presence and activity for a given year in the reference country, drawing on editors' presence across Wikimedia projects |
editorship | The percentile rank of combined editorship presence and growth signal to produce overall editor engagement metric for the reference year |
grantee_growth | This is the grantee growth percentile rank drawing on annualized year-over-year growth rate of grant signal metrics for the reference year |
grantee_presence | This is the grantee presence percentile rank drawing on grantee domain metrics for the reference year |
grants_leadership | This is the grants leadership percentile rank combineing grantee presence and growth signals to produce a grants leadership metric for the reference year |
percent_global_active_editors | The proportion of all monthly active editors who are associated to each geographic area in the reference year |
percent_global_editors | The proportion of all monthly editors which are associated to each geographic area in the reference year |
population | The area's population expressed as a percentile rank, drawing on population presence and annual growth rate as input metrics for the reference year |
population_underrepresentation | The percent rank of the gap between the population and overall_engagment metrics - the higher ranks = more underrepresentation in the Wikimedia ecosystem |
reader_growth | The percentile rank for annual growth in readership, drawing on average percentile ranks in growth of monthly pageviews and monthly unique devices |
reader_presence | The percentile rank for readership signal metrics for the reference year, averaging percentile ranks in monthly pageviews and monthly unique devices |
readership | The percentile rank for overall readership, combining reader presence and growth signals to produce a readership metric for the reference year |
