What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?
[edit]Description - Wiki Loves Folklore, an annual international photography contest hosted on Wikimedia Commons from February 1st to March 31st, serves as a global initiative to amass a diverse collection of media. The primary objective is to contribute content to Wikipedia and other online platforms, all under free licenses. The contest focuses on capturing and showcasing unique images that represent and document the intangible cultural heritage of various communities worldwide.
Structured with both national coordinators and an International Team, the campaign ensures comprehensive coverage. National coordinators, responsible for organizing Wiki Loves Folklore within their respective countries, play a vital role in fostering local participation. Simultaneously, the International Team steps in to organize the contest in countries lacking designated national coordinators, thereby addressing the representation gap within the Wikimedia ecosystem.
What banner(s) will you use? What will be your landing page?

[edit]@OlenaVinsent I created the banner (preview) and the campaign. Please Verify and confirm. Nokib Sarkar (talk) 15:37, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Nokib Sarkar: thanks! The preview doesn't work for me for some reason; I've tried from different browsers. Could you double-check whether the problem is on my side or in general? (Also, to be sure: after launching our separate banner campaign for Ukraine, please remove Ukrainian-language projects from the general campaign to avoid duplication). - @AntonProtsiuk (WMUA) Can you please try this link? I also removed ukrainian from global banner (although, usually I prefer it to be removed after enabling the banner not to have any downtime). The campaign is not enabled yet, so the link is the only way to preview. Nokib Sarkar (talk) 08:30, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Nokib Sarkar: the preview still doesn't work for me & for a few other people I've asked. Could you maybe send me a screenshot? AntonProtsiuk (WMUA) (talk) 10:58, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
- Perhaps, @DerHexer might be able to help here, since I am still a fresh bird in this flock. Nokib Sarkar (talk) 12:45, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
- @AntonProtsiuk (WMUA) Perhaps you could try this link. Actually, this is working for all of my browser (even in incognito or private browsing, where no prior details of browsing history or login is saved). Therefore, if this link does not work, I think the only way to verify is to activate the banner. Only the landing page, language and geo-trageting are different, other things are identical to that of the global banner. So, it should not create any inconsistencies. Nokib Sarkar (talk) 11:27, 8 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Nokib Sarkar: it now works and looks good to me. Please go ahead with activating. Thanks! AntonProtsiuk (WMUA) (talk) 11:46, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
