@JBrungs (WMF): fyi, as banners for surveys require WMF approval. --Johannnes89 (talk) 11:56, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks @Johannnes89. I think this is one for TAndic (WMF) to have a look at. Best, JBrungs (WMF) (talk) 11:59, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@.Anja.: Have you made the local community aware of this upcoming survey (the project page isn't linked anywhere)? Please add a link to the community announcement here, thank you. —DerHexer (Talk) 21:54, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @.Anja.! As this is a more complex survey scenario than is typical for Central Notice (specifically as I understand it, a demographic survey of editors conducted by an external researcher, with the intent to publicly release the dataset), please bear with me as it may take some time to discuss and approve it. As a note, technically the discussion period for surveys is 90 days. Please allow me a few days to get back to you with my questions and comments, and in the meantime: if you have a draft of the survey that you can share here, that would be very helpful to better understand the research. - TAndic (WMF) (talk) 18:49, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@TAndic (WMF) I can mail you the draft in the coming days. Is that OK for you? Thank you! .Anja. (talk) 10:01, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That works for me, thank you @.Anja.! My email is on my user page :) - TAndic (WMF) (talk) 13:27, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@.Anja. and TAndic (WMF): The survey was requested to be started some days ago. Can I assume that the campaign dates will be postponed? Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 17:49, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you @DerHexer, at least from my side I think this will take some weeks -- @.Anja. I am awaiting your email with the survey draft (in French is fine :)) before I make comments (and of course feel welcome to also include your research collaborator, I am happy to discuss with you both!) Best, - TAndic (WMF) (talk) 18:37, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. We can create the campaign at any point later. Please just let us know with a ping and the new dates. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 18:41, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
