[edit]Central Notice admin comments
[edit]- @Manfred Werner (WMAT): It's easier for us when you provide HTML/CSS/JavaScript; wikimarkup language cannot be used in the banners. I could copy the banners nonetheless.

- Yes, thank you @DerHexer:, --Manfred Werner (WMAT) (talk) 16:15, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for the little delay of my response. The banners look good and just like we have planned them. I hope the description of the targeting is clear enough in the request above.
- Now I have finally understood that you need HTML/CSS/JavaScript, not Wiki markup, in the drafts for banners. Above I have used an existing example I found when searching for a template to prepare it as good as possible; thus the style and the comments in the source text.
- For now we are thankful that you found the time to handle this request! That's really appreciated. -Manfred Werner (WMAT) (talk) 16:37, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

- Hi, this is a bug report. There doesn't seem to be any way to dismiss these banners? Screenshot at imgur. (i.e. no "X" close icon, as far as I can see). I tested in a logged-out window, too. I hope that helps! Quiddity (talk) 17:04, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

- Hi all,
- Sorry I was OOO for a few days and just saw this. This all looks good but I just wanted to make sure you are aware that we are running fundraising campaigns for non logged in users in Austria, Chile, and Uruguay during the time of your campaign. This means that for 75% of the time, logged out users will first see a fundraising banner for 10 impressions before they will see your banner on Wikipedia. Best, JBrungs (WMF) (talk) 06:17, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
- It's difficult to plan such an event months in advance, especially the start and end dates that have to be coordinated, and also to consider (and avoid collisions with) every possible other campaign that may be happening at the same time in 16 countries. We are glad the banner is online - of course it would be nice if also the logged out users in Austria, Chile and Uruguay get it shown from time to time. But neither our nor the fundraisers campaign can change the timeframes now. We will have to see how it turns out in regard of participation and donations.
- Again, thank you to all of you who helped with this request! --Manfred Werner (WMAT) (talk) 14:24, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
