Online meetings are helpful to create bonding between community members. CIS-A2K conducted an online meeting of Punjabi Wikimedians on 9 January 2021. This was the first meeting of the 2021 year. 14 participants joined this meeting.

[edit]With the number of 14 participants, the meeting was started at 3:07 pm. Participants waited for more people to join for seven minutes. After welcoming, Satpal briefly discussed the agenda of the meeting with everyone that what we are going to discuss today. Nitesh Gill shared information about Wikipedia_20th_anniversary_celebration_edit-a-thon. The event runs from 9-10 January 2021. Nitesh requested participants to contribute in this editathon. She also mentioned that this editathon is a part of mini-editathon series run by CIS-A2K. She also shared updates about the upcoming Punjabi-Hindi Wikimedians call. The call was scheduled for 15 January 2021. The event page can be seen here. User:Mulkh Singh shared the introduction of Wikimedia Wikimeet India 2021 in detail with participants. He shared his screen to describe it in a better way. This was about 20 minutes long. There were some questions and comments on this by participants. This was the first time that Mulkh Singh took this initiative to share information about an event with everyone in a detailed manner. Charan Gill added his comments during the discussion. It was decided at the end of the meeting that there should be offline meetup very soon with all precautions from COVID-19. It will be helpful as volunteers are being inactive so meetup is necessary to boost them up.
