This roadmap provides a structured approach to the Yoruba Oral Tradition Project, a project that aims to preserve, promote, and share the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba people through innovative and sustainable means.

Research and Documentation

We will conduct comprehensive research on various forms of Yoruba oral traditions, including folktales, proverbs, chants, rituals, and historical narratives. We will also develop a systematic approach to document and record oral traditions, ensuring accuracy and cultural sensitivity.

The objective of this research and documentation is to conduct a thorough examination of diverse forms of Yoruba oral traditions. The rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba people encompasses a wide array of expressions, including folktales, proverbs, chants, rituals, and historical narratives.
