2022 was a slow year for the Wikisource Community User Group and a lot of members have been busy with other activity in their communities. That said, there has been several initiatives and events worth reporting here.
Wikisource Triage meetings
[edit]Thanks to SGill (WMF) and SWilson (WMF), 7 online meetings happened in March, April, May, June, August, October and November. These meetings where mainly technology focused, but non-technical Wikisource contributors were invited to join and share any technical challenges. Several related updates and tools were also shared.
From 12 to 18 people attended the meetings and 43 differents persons in total.

Grants for technical work
[edit]During early meetings of the User Group, it has been decided to seek funding for Wikisource initiative, in particular on the technical level, as the Annual Wikimedia Foundation Wishlist Survey results are often disappointing.
Thanks to funding from Wikimedia Italia, and the support of the WMF Community Tech, in particular SWilson (WMF)'s help, we have been able to fund two projects this year. The funds have been requested by Ruthven, who followed the development of the projects along with Community Tech. These projects are:

- BookReader, developed by Jayprakash12345
