This page is for discussion about the proposal for an Iranian chapter of Wikimedia. This chapter can help coordinate and promote various Persian language Wikimedia projects like Wikipedia, Wikisource, Wiktionary, Wikibooks etc at Iran, and to create and improve related articles in other languages.

- That mailing list is dedicated to Persian Wikipedia, not Wikimedia Iran. I think Wikimedia Iran can have its own mailing list, where subjects such as those suggested by Mmehdi.g can be discussed. However, I'm not sure if this is the time for it. Maybe we need to hit the road first, in a more sensible way, and then request for a new mailing list. Huji 18:36, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
