Про Комітет
Комітет зі справ спільноти Фонду Вікімедіа (КСС) — це комітет Ради, створений 24 лютого 2021 року. Його призначення — «оцінювати, досліджувати та розглядати поточні та майбутні зусилля, пов'язані зі спільнотою. Його головна мета полягає в тому, щоб працювати як з персоналом Фонду Вікімедіа, так і з ширшою спільнотою Вікімедіа, щоб подолати конфлікти та пропонувати настанови, з головною метою постійного покращення відносин між Фондом Вікімедіа та ширшою спільнотою, а також щоб спільно працювати над досягненням місії та бачення Руху Вікімедіа, враховуючи при цьому різні потреби Фонду Вікімедіа, наших спільнот і користувачів у всьому світі».
The CAC's scope and responsibilities are laid out in its charter.
The Committee's main priorities for 2025 are:
- Community-related initiatives and affairs: Help prioritize community-related initiatives, liaising with committees and task forces, and supporting CEO and relevant staff regarding ongoing community-related priorities (e.g. engaging the movement with the annual planning work & other organisational priorities).
- Board Communications: Maintain and improve ongoing connections with communities at events, calls, and more.
- Movement Strategy: Support the implementation of the Movement Strategy, including liaising with applicable committees (e.g. Governance Committee, Affiliations Committee, as well as engaging with drafts and outputs.)
