Wikimedia Enterprise

Wikimedia Enterprise is an API service of the Wikimedia Foundation available via enterprise.wikimedia.com since late 2021. Designed for the specific needs of commercial reusers of Wikimedia content (such as SLA’s, customer support, high-speed and volume datafeeds), this is a paid service – meaning it provides revenue to the Wikimedia movement, levels the playing field for small and big tech, and increases the discoverability of Wikimedia knowledge.

We are a multidisciplinary team responsible for supporting all aspects of high-volume reuse of Wikimedia’s freely-licensed content - through the development of open source APIs and contractual customer support services. Enterprise is hosted in the Wikimedia Foundation Advancement department, and works closely with technical, legal and financial teams across the organisation.
