Hong Kong is one of the two special administrative regions (SARs) of the [[w:People's Republic of China|--Manhunt12 11:55, 29 September 2009 (UTC)Taipei]] (PRC). Hong Kong is on the eastern side of the Pearl River Delta on the southeastern coast of China, facing the South China Sea in the south, and bordering Guangdong Province in the north. Hong Kong is an immensely wealthy city due to the fact that it has one of the world's most liberal economies, and is a major international centre of finance and trade.[reply]

Self-evaluation

[edit]
  • Weaknesses of the proposed location ...and how to overcome those weaknesses
  1. It rains a lot during the summer months in Hong Kong. There may be also typhoons.
Nothing can be done about the weather. However, contingency plans can be prepared.
  2. Only people from selected (42) cities in Mainland China can access to Hong Kong easily.
No soulution can be found yet.
  3. The active Wikipedians in Hong Kong are mostly not mature enough, as they are mostly from high schools, they lack the experience in organizating big functions. There might be also some childish Wikipedians would spoil the Wikimania, as like in the CWMC2006.
Age limit for helpers should be set.
  4. The guest would feel tired if they visit HK for the simular type of job in two consecutive years.
No soulution can be found yet.
