Before the main event
[edit]Before the main event, we will organize an engaging and hands-on workshop for all participants. This workshop aims to introduce the basics of Wikipedia, including its mission, principles, and community guidelines. Participants will learn how to create their own Wikipedia accounts, understand the platform’s editing tools, and gain practical experience in editing articles. The session will cover essential skills such as adding content, citing reliable sources, and adhering to Wikipedia’s neutrality and verifiability policies. This preparatory workshop will ensure that all participants are equipped with the necessary knowledge and confidence to actively contribute during the main event.
