Code of Conduct for the Wikipedia Camp

Respect and Inclusion

Treat all participants, trainers, and organizers with respect and kindness.

Foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, regardless of background, gender, race, religion, or level of experience.

Use respectful language during all interactions, whether in person or online.

Collaboration and Teamwork

Work collaboratively and actively support team members during activities and discussions.

Listen to others’ ideas and provide constructive feedback.

Share knowledge and skills to help others grow.

Commitment to Learning

Participate actively in all scheduled activities, workshops, and discussions.

Be open to learning new concepts, tools, and skills related to Wikimedia projects.

Strive to improve your contributions to Wikipedia and other Wikimedia platforms.

Ethical Contributions

Follow Wikimedia’s policies, including neutrality, verifiability, and copyright guidelines.

Ensure all edits and contributions are honest, accurate, and free of plagiarism.

Avoid disruptive behaviors, such as edit wars or vandalism.

Responsibility and Safety

Respect the property and equipment provided at the camp, including PCs, WiFi, and shared spaces.

Follow the safety guidelines outlined by the organizers, especially in group activities and accommodations.

Report any issues, including harassment or violations of the code of conduct, to the designated camp coordinators.

Healthy Living

Maintain a balanced lifestyle during the camp by participating in physical and recreational activities organized by the team.

Respect the accommodation and dining schedules to ensure smooth operations for all participants.

Avoid behavior that may disrupt the well-being of others, such as excessive noise or untidiness.

Media and Privacy

Seek consent before sharing photos, videos, or personal information of other participants on social media or other platforms.

Respect the privacy of others, including in shared living spaces.

Accountability

Understand that violations of the code of conduct may result in corrective actions, including warnings or removal from the camp.

Strive to represent the Wikipedia community positively by upholding these principles.

1. الاحترام والتعامل اللائق (مبدأ ويكيبيديا: افترض حسن النية)

• تعامل مع جميع المشاركين، المدربين، والمنظمين باحترام ولباقة.
• افترض حسن النية في جميع التفاعلات والنقاشات.
• عزز بيئة يتم فيها تقدير الآراء ووجهات النظر المختلفة.

2. التعاون والمشاركة (مبدأ ويكيبيديا: كن جريئًا)

• شارك بنشاط في الأنشطة الجماعية وشارك المعرفة لتحسين النتائج الجماعية.
• كن جريئًا في تقديم الأفكار، ولكن كن مستعدًا لتلقي النقد البناء.
• اعمل مع الآخرين لإنتاج محتوى مفيد يتماشى مع أهداف ويكيميديا.

3. الأمانة والنزاهة (مبدأ ويكيبيديا: وجهة النظر المحايدة)

• تأكد من أن جميع المساهمات، سواء أثناء الورش أو على منصات ويكيميديا، دقيقة ومحايدة وقابلة للتحقق.
• تجنب التحيز أو الانتحال أو أي ممارسات غير أخلاقية عند التحرير أو المناقشة.

4. الشمولية والمساواة (مبدأ ويكيبيديا: لا للهجمات الشخصية)

• أنشئ مساحة آمنة يشعر فيها الجميع، بغض النظر عن الجنس أو الخلفية أو الخبرة، بالترحيب والتقدير.
• استخدم لغة محترمة وتجنب أي شكل من أشكال الهجمات الشخصية أو التحرش أو التمييز.

5. الاستخدام المسؤول للموارد (مبدأ ويكيبيديا: احترام موارد المجتمع)

• حافظ على المعدات والمرافق المقدمة، بما في ذلك أجهزة الكمبيوتر، الإنترنت، والمساحات المشتركة.
• كن واعيًا في استخدام الموارد المشتركة لضمان توفيرها للجميع.

6. الخصوصية والإعلام (مبدأ ويكيبيديا: احترام الخصوصية)

• احترم خصوصية المشاركين الآخرين بعدم مشاركة معلوماتهم الشخصية أو صورهم أو مقاطع الفيديو الخاصة بهم دون موافقة.
• اتبع ممارسات أخلاقية عند توثيق أو مشاركة أنشطة المخيم عبر الإنترنت.

7. السلامة والرفاهية (مبدأ ويكيبيديا: تحمل المسؤولية)

• التزم بإرشادات السلامة أثناء جميع أنشطة المخيم سواء داخل الأماكن المغلقة أو في الخارج.
• حافظ على نظافة وتنظيم مكان الإقامة والمساحات المشتركة.
• أعطِ الأولوية للعادات الصحية مثل تناول الوجبات بانتظام، الحصول على قسط كافٍ من الراحة، والمشاركة في الأنشطة الترفيهية.

8. المساءلة وحل النزاعات (مبدأ ويكيبيديا: حل النزاعات بهدوء)

• تعامل مع الخلافات بهدوء وبناء من خلال الحوار المفتوح.
• أبلغ عن أي انتهاكات لمدونة السلوك لمنسقي المخيم لحلها.
• تفهم أن الانتهاكات المتكررة أو الجسيمة قد تؤدي إلى استبعادك من المخيم.
