Hi, I've added a simple link to your alternate account, which already links to this (though on another wiki). As you mention using the wrong account but as of November you keep using this rather than the other [2] [3], you may want to also add a line about when/under which criteria you choose to use one or the other. Ich habe eine ganz konkrete Frage bezüglich der Rechte und Möglichkeiten des de:Benutzer:Seewolf in der deutschen Wikipedia. Er behauptete heute (7.4.14), dass die Neuanmeldungen

• de:Benutzer:VonUndZuUndZuDrumrum
• de:Benutzer:SPHeinzJosefLuecking
• de:Benutzer:SeranoS

identisch seien. Meines Erachtens kann ein Zusammenhang nur über die IP hergestellt werden. Hat der User Seewolf Möglichkeiten, die IPs von Neuameldungen einzusehen? Wenn ja, wo ist dieses Recht geregelt? Danke, Arcy (talk) 14:26, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

Hallo Arcy, danke für deine Nachricht. Selbstverständlich hat Seewolf als Administrator nicht die Möglichkeit, die IP-Adressen von neu angelegten Benutzerkonten einzusehen. Das können in der deutschsprachigen Wikipedia nur Checkuser. Informationen dazu findest du unter de:Wikipedia:Administratoren, de:Wikipedia:Checkuser und auf CheckUser policy. Danke, Gnom, für die Antwort. Aber die Extension:AbuseFilter die der Benuter in der deutschen Wikipedia verwaltet bieten ihm die Möglichkeit aus den Neuanmeldungen diejenigen IP-Adressen heraus zu filtern die einem bestimmten Schema entsprechen (ip_in_range Parameter) Sind solche IP-Filterungen bei Neuanmeldungen zulässig? Hallo nochmal, Arcy. Der AbuseFilter-Parameter ip_in_range funktioniert nur bei anonymen (also nicht eingeloggten) Benutzern. Man kann den AbuseFilter also nicht dafür verwenden, IP-Adressen von (neu) angemeldeten Benutzern zu überprüfen. So etwas wäre ja eine Umgehung der CheckUser-Berechtigung, wenn es ginge. Ich habe diese Information hier gefunden und noch einmal überprüft. Ich habe die Dokumentation entsprechend angepasst. Gruß, --Gnom (talk) 10:05, 9 April 2014 (UTC)

Destructive User

Hi, schön dass ich einen Mediator gefunden habe der offensichtlich auch gegen Destruktion ist. Ich trage schon lange bei Wikipedia ein, meist Rechtschreibverbesserungen oder kleine Ergänzungen. Kann mich also nicht wirklich als erfahren mit den Mechanismen bezeichnen. Ich halte es für superwichtig dass Destruktion in Wikipedia minimiert wird, daher hier mein Anliegen: Ich habe, da ich drüber gestolpert bin, eine Ergänzung zum Thema "Eingliederungsvereinbarung" gemacht, die darstellt dass nicht alle Träger Leistung erbringen wenn diese unterschrieben wurde. Das hatte ich erst ohne User( hatte bisher noch keinen) eingetragen, der Eintrag wurde einfach gelöscht mit falscher Begründung von einem User "Esab", der allerdings nicht angelegt scheint ( wie geht das?). Begründung: Träger würden besagte beschriebene Leistungen nicht erbringen ( glatte Lüge, kann man direkt mit dem mitgelieferten Link überprüfen) Also hab ich mich als Tranqualizer angemeldet, wieder eingetragen, wieder Löschung durch Esab der einfach nur auf eine völlig unzutreffende Standardbegründung verweist, die er, so erscheints mir, für diverse Fälle benutzt. Völlig unzutreffende Begründung, völlig am Thema vorbei. Habe also jetzt wieder meinen Abshnitt ergänzt, gehe davon aus dass der wieder gelöscht werden wird. Wäre für Hilfe dankbar ( wie gesagt bin kein Wiki-Profi, halte die zu ergänzende Info aber für fundamental wichtig! ) Hier der v.mir ergänzte Abschnitt: (ich habe aus den doppelten = jew. einfaches # gemacht damit das hier keinen extra-Abschnitt ergibt; wäre um Hilfe dankbar, habe dafür halt viel zu wenig Ahnung von wiki-Mechanismen und leider zur Zeit auch nicht so viel Zeit mich drum zu kümmern, wie gesagt halte die INfo aber trotzdem für wichtig!! ) Vielen Dank schon mal im Voraus von einem etwas überforderten Nicht-Profi-User, hier der Abschnitt den ich ergänzt habe ( sonst habe ich nichts am Artikel geändert ):

Von gewissen Trägern wird die Eingliederungsvereinbarung als Hinderungsgrund für die Gewährung einer Hilfeleistung angesehen, so z.B. aktuell (Stand 7/2014) von der Schuldnerberatung der Diakonie Düsseldorf: "...Voraussetzung unserer Beratung ist, dass Sie ... keine Eingliederungsvereinbarung mit dem Fallmanagement des Jobcenters Düsseldorf abgeschlossen haben. ..."

ich weiß nicht genau, wie du auf mich gekommen bist. Auf jedem Fall möchte ich davor warnen, einen "Editierkrieg" zu führen. Du solltest vielmehr die Frage auf der Diskussionsseite des konkreten Artikels klären. Dort kannst du etwas zu dem Argument deiner Gegenseite sagen ("Die Diakonie macht keine Schuldnerberatung, wenn diese bereits durch das Jobcenter gewährleistet ist.").

Per cominciare, ti ringrazio di cuore per il tuo impegno. Per la differenza che mi chiedevi, in realtà i termini sembrano essere sinonimi su en.wp. Credo che "riferimento" o "nota generica" vs "riferimento bibliografico" (e affini) sia il modo migliore per esprimere il concetto (in italiano sono abituata a chiamare imprecisamente entrambe le cose come "nota"). Se la cosa non è abbastanza chiara, salta pure quel passaggio. Per le parole precedute da simbolo di dollaro, non devi fare nulla se non copincollarle come sono - fai anche prima se, quando arrivi al punto della traduzione in cui ti servono, clicca il pulsante con il loro nome sopra (lo vedi all'interno della casella di edizione, accanto a "incolla il testo sorgente".). Early invitation: join VisualEditor's 2015 Translathon

Hello!

You are invited to join the 2nd edition of the VisualEditor Translathon! It is a translation rally, focused on interface messages and help pages related to VisualEditor.

In order to participate, you need to sign up on the Translathon page. The top 3 contributors will each win a Wikipedia t-shirt of their choice from the Wikipedia store. Translations made between July 15th and July 19th (CDT time zone) qualify.

If you are attending Wikimania Mexico this year, you are also welcome to join a related sprint during the Hackathon in Workplace 1 - Don Américo, Thursday 16 July at 4:00 p.m (CDT) at the conference venue, so you can meet other fellow translators and get support if you need some.

Interface messages have the priority. You will need to create an account at translatewiki.net in order to work on them, if you don't have one. It is recommended to create the account ASAP, so that it can be manually confirmed in time.

You can also help translate documentation pages about VisualEditor on mediawiki.org. You can use your Wikipedia account there. You will find instructions, links and other details on the Translathon page.

Global checkuser requested

Dear member of the Ombudsman Commission. Yesterday (July 18) I filed a formal complaint by sending an email to the OC (see here). I've been falsely accused of having a sockpuppet and, in spite of my requests, the checkusers at the Spanish Wikipedia keep on claiming I control Pelayo Calderón account. That's not true and, IMHO, the only way to clarify it is to perform a global checkuser verification in order to compare my alleged sockpuppet editions (AFAIK, all of them in the Spanish Wikipedia) with mine (mostly in commons, but also in wikidata and other wikipedias... possibly there are a few records of mine also in the Spanish Wikipedia). I'm perfectly aware of the expiration of logs and therefore I'd like to get a fast response, as it seems to be the only way to clean my name. I'd like to get, at least, an acknowledgement, as I haven't received any news after sending my email. If necessary, I can contact you by mail. Just let me know. Hi Discasto, thank you for your message. Please understand that the Ombudsman commission, as a volunteer group consisting of several people who have to decide together, cannot process requests within a few days. Also, please make sure your request is easy to understand and please highlight where you see a violation of the Privacy Policy. That means not just telling us about what happened, but to give us the exact wording of the provision in the Privacy Policy that you think was violated. As a starting point, you should answer the following question: Was personal information about you (please read carefully what "personal information" means!) shared, and if yes, why does it not fall under one of the provisions of the privacy policy (such as fighting project abuse). As you may know, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees approved a new "Access to nonpublic information policy" on 25 April 2014 after a community consultation. The former policy has remained in place until the new policy could be implemented. That implementation work is now being done, and we are beginning the transition to the new policy.

An important part of that transition is helping volunteers like you sign the required confidentiality agreement. All Wikimedia volunteers with access to nonpublic information are required to sign this new agreement, and we have prepared some documentation to help you do so.

The Wikimedia Foundation is requiring that anyone with access to nonpublic information sign the new confidentiality agreement by 15 December 2015 (OTRS users have until 22 December 2015) to retain their access. You are receiving this email because you have access to nonpublic information and are required to sign the confidentiality agreement under the new policy.

Signing the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information is conducted and tracked using Legalpad on Phabricator. The general confidentiality agreement is now ready, and the OTRS agreement will be ready after 22 September 2015.
