About me

I am a graduate of Nutrition and Dietetics from Imo State University and a proud indigene of Imo State, Nigeria. I am passionate about digital storytelling, I leverage the power of poetry to tell compelling stories.

Beyond storytelling, I am an active Wikimedia volunteer dedicated to promoting open knowledge, gender equity and empowerment, and documentation of data within the Wikimedia space.

Featured Work: "Thy Equal"

Deep. Oh, man! How deep thy ways. All fingers ain't equal, Oh! All men ain't equal.

Man, thou art a being of influence, Why oppress thy equal? Even at thy minute height of status, Thou art ready to suppress thy equal.

Man, why step on thy equal? Do thou knoweth not that, The bigger thy shoe size, The heavier thy burden unto thy equal?

Man, drag thy feet off thy equals back! Dust oppressions print off thy heart, Embrace , respect and strengthen thy equal.

Never forget, "By death's cold hands, every man meets an equal end."

- A.D.O (One of my oldest pieces)

My work

I began my journey in the Wikimedia community in 2021 as a contributor through the Wikimedia Pages Wanting Photos (WPWP) campaign for the Owerri hub in 2021, where I secured third place in the contest.

I am an active member of the Africa Wiki Women Community, currently serving as one of its graphic designers through the Leadership and Mentorship Fellowship (LMF) program. Through the program, I became part of the Africa Wiki Women Technical Research Team, and my contributions to the movement have expanded by:

  • Assisting in event organization & coordination
  • Moderating Wikimedia events
  • Documenting event processes & reports
