Names and aliases

Is there a special (any?) reason why board candidates are shown name (alias) and FDC candidates are shown alias (name)? I would prefer to have both in the same order. Sincerely, RonnieV (talk) 08:17, 3 June 2013 (UTC)

The short answer is because that's what the election committee asked me too do so I'll leave them to confirm or deny my understanding. That said I believe the reason was because board candidates were required to give their names however FDC Candidates were not. Therefore since the username was the only part required for FDC candidates that became the 'primary' option and the real name became the parenthetical option.
