Two options[edit]

When I clicked on the Board of trustees link in the email received yesterday, I was a little surprised and amused, but at the same time concerned about the flawed wording of the first paragraph. Specifically, the phrase "make free knowledge free", and while I obviously understand what you mean or are trying to say, the wording used borders on tautology (and that's being generous). You cannot MAKE something that is ALREADY free, free, if you get my drift. You can KEEP it free, or alternatively you can make knowledge free, but not what you have at the moment. If I can use an analogy, a double negative in English equals a positive (it does not remain negative) as one cancels the other out. Editrite! (talk) 23:41, 3 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
