Mistake?

"If you add 3,900 bytes of content to an existing article, you get 6 points: 4 for the size and 2 for improvement."
Unless I am mistaken, this can't be correct. It should be 5 points: 3 for the size en 2 for improvement. Or have I missed something? IJzeren Jan (talk) 09:09, 8 April 2025 (UTC)

You are right that 3,900 bytes would mathematically be 3.9 points based on the "1 point per 1,000 bytes" rule. However, when calculating points, we use standard rounding (mathematical rounding). That means 3.9 rounds up to 4. So in this case, 3,900 bytes earns 4 points for size. OlesiaLukaniuk (WMUA) (talk) 12:53, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
