Publishing funding per project

Thank you for your suggestion! Currently, the application for the Call is still open. After the final selection of projects proposed, WMDE will announce grantees and their project ideas, including funds to be allocated to each project on the project page. Wikicurricula

Hello! I'm Nat from Wikimedistas de Uruguay. We have been working on this project which relies on Wikidata to display school curriculum topics. We currently use the query service only. One of the features we want to implement may benefit from using the Wikidata Rest API, but I'd like to discuss it in a call before applying, since I have some doubts about it. Is a Wikidata project considered a "user group"?

Thank you for reaching out, @AWesterinen! Our open call is addressed to Wikimedia movement affiliates. Wikimedia movement affiliates include chapters, user groups, and thematic organizations (for more details on on the differences of those three affiliate models please visit Wikimedia movement affiliates/Models). A Wikidata project does not fall into any of those three categories. If you are not part of a chapter, user group, or thematic organization but still want to participate in our open call, you can reach out Wikimedia movement affiliates and ask for fiscal sponsorship.
