Ghanaian Languages Wikimedia Community Meetup 2024

[edit]

Dear Wikimedians,

We are delighted to announce the second edition of the Ghanaian Languages Meetup, a yearly meetup for all language Wikimedians.

The Ghanaian Languages Meetup is organised by a group of Language Wikimedia communities in Ghana. It will be held in Tamale from 26th July to 28th July 2024.

The mini-conference is designed to bring together Wikimedians working on the indigenous languages of Wikipedia in Ghana. The conference will also serve as a platform for various communities to learn about volunteer recruitment, retention, and community and leadership development.

We invite all Wikimedians and individuals interested in open knowledge to join us for the second edition of the conference. Scholarship to attend the meetup is still open. Please apply here Awinebotima (talk) 11:37, 1 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
