I also think this would be useful. Maybe it hasn't been done because then vandalism would more easily sneek in. I found it often finds its way intro structured data regardless and SDC is largely inferrable and duplicative of the categories. Considering that and how extremely rare SDC edits on WMC seem to be even when you have many thousands of files on your watchlist, an alternative approach would be to only hide SDC edits done with tools like AC/DC (at least when done by established users) that usually edit many files at once and could be a problem if you have many affected files on your watchlist. Actually one can already ignore AC/DC edits by clicking on Tagged edits at the bottom then selecting it then selecting Exclude selected and saving the watchlist settings as default. More than that doesn't seem useful / needed. Prototyperspective (talk) 11:04, 29 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Where is tagged edits, not showing on my watchlist. Keith D (talk) 18:22, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Click on the menu (burger menu) left of "Filter changes (use menu or search for filter name)" then scroll to the very bottom of the menu and click on "Tagged edits". Prototyperspective (talk) 22:21, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Think I must have a different watchlist display as have no Filter changes or burger menu displaying. Keith D (talk) 09:20, 20 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Here is a screenshot of watchlist - this is what this wish relates to . Keith D (talk) 10:02, 20 August 2024 (UTC) screenshotReply
Well it's your own fault if you check "Use non-JavaScript interface" in the Preferences under Watchlist. I'd oppose spending any time on improving this Watchlist which is outdated and should only be used in special circumstances. Just uncheck that option and get the modern Watchlist with full functionality. Prototyperspective (talk) 11:59, 20 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
