Affcom Workflows

Great updates coming out of Affcom, excited to see WUG recognitions coming back online.

The following line got me curious:

...delegating parts of certain workflows, such as the logistics for conflict management workflow and routine communications, to support staff, allowing AffCom to concentrate on strategic decision-making.

Does this mean, that affiliate conflicts are handled by Staff, then recommend a decision for Affcom to vote? Or is it something else. I think clarity around how affiliate conflicts are handled procedurally is always helpful.

@Thuvack, thank you for your thoughtful question and kind words about the newsletter!

To clarify: as AffCom evolves, we are working on streamlining operations to improve efficiency. While Foundation staff will support routine communication and operational aspects of affiliate conflicts, AffCom will continue to oversee the process and maintain decision-making authority. This means staff may help facilitate discussions, gather relevant information, and recommend possible resolutions, but final decisions will still rest with AffCom to ensure accountability and alignment with affiliate expectations.
