- If Ransome-Kuti and Nwapa are selected, I suggest the EN articles should first be more richly sourced and brought up to B class. This should not be difficult.--Ipigott (talk) 12:04, 28 January 2017 (UTC)

- Support, as nominator. Nigerian woman football player. Probably the best of the bunch in Category:Nigeria women's international footballers. Sportswomen are important to have in terms of normalizing their participation in sport. Equality in sports involvement for women is strongly tied to human rights for women around the world. --LauraHale (talk) 11:30, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Nassima Saifi
- Support, as nominator. Nassima Saifi is a multi-medal winning Algerian Parlaympian. Article lead could use some improvement. Sportswomen are important to have in terms of normalizing their participation in sport. Equality in sports involvement for women is strongly tied to human rights for women around the world. Also, increases visibility of women with disabilities, which is important as different types of women matter strongly. --LauraHale (talk) 11:36, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Tshotlego Morama
- Support, as nominator. Tshotlego Morama is the first woman to represent Botswana at the Paralympic Games. Article could use some improvement and updating since last touched probably around 2009. --LauraHale (talk) 11:39, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

Sister Challenge in the CEE Region
[edit]Hello, I'd like to "advertise" a sister challenge that is taking place from 20 April to 30 May: 100wikidays/CEE women. Don't panic, no need to make 100 wikidays for CEE women only, also no need to actually write 100 articles, I ask for at least 10 articles in the next 40 days. And there will be a supercool prize... go and check the page... ;) →Spiritia 06:35, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
