Hi Ipigott, I got your message. It's a great idea to combine WAM and WiR. I can pass this information to some communities in Taiwan. Could I do something more to support your event?--Reke (talk) 17:39, 22 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

Hi Ipigott,

You can watch the livestream here, and ask question via IRC on #wikimedia-office.

Gender gap stats

[edit]

Hello, Victuallers told me I should talk with you about statistics for Women in Red after I wrote d:Wikidata:WikiProject Women/Wiki monitor/Statistics. Let me know if I can help. I have limited time but an extensive bag of tricks from several years of GLAM work. Nemo 13:35, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for offering assistance, Nemo bis. We have been running into a few minor problems recently but things seem to be settling down. The main problem has been changes in the format of the Wikidata dumps but we seem to be overcoming the difficulties. I'll let you know if ever we need further help.--Ipigott (talk) 13:45, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Invitation to participate in Universal Code of Conduct survey - WikiWomen's User Group

[edit]

(You are receiving this message as you signed your interest to participate as part of the WikiWomen's User Group)

Hello, my name is Mervat Salman, a UCoC Facilitator, Trust and Safety team.

As you know, the WMF Board of Trustees ratified the Universal Code of Conduct early in February. That's the beginning; the policy itself cannot be used if the enforcement pathways are not defined. The implementation and enforcement of the UCoC requires the continuous cooperation to define clear definitions of enforcement pathways and processes. This needs to be done in a way that does not contradict with the internal bylaws and codes of conduct currently in place, but rather to support them and complement their deficiencies, if any.

In this phase of the process, we would like to invite you to share your ideas, thoughts and concerns about the UCoC implementation, reporting and enforcement pathways using this survey:

Notice: This survey will be conducted via a third-party service, which may subject it to additional terms. For more information on privacy and data-handling, see the survey privacy statement <https://foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/UCoC_Affiliates_Survey_Privacy_Statement>.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact msalman-ctr@wikimedia.org.

Best regards,

Mervat (WMF) 17:00, 9 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wiki Loves Folklore International Team 2021

  • Thank you, Joy Agyepong, for letting me know I have won a prize. While I enjoyed writing a few articles about women associated with folklore, I did not realize I was taking part in a competition and am not interested in receiving the prize you offer. Please use any credits I may have earned to support other participants. While I'm here, I would like to thank you for the interesting articles you have written about Ghana on the EN wiki, especially the biographies of women. If you are not too busy with your administrative responsibilities, it would be great if you could cover a few more.--Ipigott (talk) 07:17, 27 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
