Personal info: I have been a Steward since 2019 and this year, despite some difficulties, I managed to help although not as I would have liked because fortunately for the community the requests were processed in a very short time, but I always put maximum effort and passion into what I did. Despite a drop in my statistics in the last year, I remained active, especially on external channels, for emergency actions, help to local admins and CUs, to compare data and fight vandalism and LTAs. I hope to continue to count on the trust of the community to continue fighting spambots and LTAs, and for other tasks.

Informazioni personali: Sono uno Steward dal 2019 e quest'anno, nonostante alcune difficoltà, sono riuscito a dare una mano anche se non come avrei voluto perché fortunatamente per la comunità le richieste venivano gestite in pochissimo tempo, ma ho sempre messo il massimo impegno e passione in quello che ho fatto. Nonostante un calo delle mie statiche nell'ultimo anno, sono rimasto attivo, soprattutto su canali esterni, per azioni di emergenza, aiuti ad admin e CU locali, per confrontare i dati, combattere i vandalismi ed LTA. Spero di poter continuare a contare sulla fiducia della comunità per continuare a combattere spambot e LTA, e per gli altri compiti.

Remove The lock of this account appears to the opposite of how stewards are supposed to act in cases of global locks. While it's already difficult to argue that someone changing their mind on some content they decided to add almost a year ago is grounds for a local block, Wim b went and made a global lock after "cross-wiki abuse" was reported to SRG. Now, it's understandable that the local block was wrong, but Wim b decided to escalate this fairly minor local issue to a global scale by fulfilling the global lock report that was made, without even giving any explanation in the lock reason. It's just "per request" that doesn't even link to any particular section, instead simply a diff when he fulfilled the reports. The lack of responses to talk pages, including on this specific issue, is also alarming. It made this situation more difficult for local administrators to handle. Combine poorly executed locks with low activity and unfortunately it means, in my opinion, Wim b is currently a net negative to the steward team. --Ferien (talk) 20:07, 6 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ferien: The "per request" link does not link to any section, but is the automatic link when you follow the request from SRG. Due to the lack of response to the discussion, when I was notified after 1 day EPIC didn't give me time to read that it had already resolved, I couldn't do more, and I certainly can't follow a discussion on simple.wiki if no one notifies me. Keep I'm not concerned by that lock - at the time it was made it was someone who was indef blocked on enwiki and had allegedly repeated the same disruptive behavior on simplewiki and been blocked for it - those are the only two wikis they had ever edited. I think stewards are allowed to trust that local admins on big projects like simplewiki block for a good reason. * Pppery * _{it has begun} 16:20, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is worth noting that the "one-strike" rule on simplewiki exists to prevent rule breaking of any type from any user who is blocked on another project; the rules being broken do not have to match the problematic behaviour on another wiki, so that's not something that can be extrapolated from the block reason. Even if it were, it is still not grounds for a global lock – this is pretty much a content dispute involving genre warring, as was stated on the enwiki block reason.
