- I would like to express the concern that a Hakka WP might draw away from the workforce of the Minnan WP. I don't think that it's a good reason to not have a Hakka Wikipedia, but I do think that, as long as the Minnan Wikipedia is as small as it is now, we should try to be careful. --Node ue 22:22, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- It wouldn't draw away resources in a significant way: more likely it'd just die without the active participation of native speakers (which the mentioned speakers are not). A-giâu 22:26, 5 Jul 2005 (UTC)

- Support Exist 30 million of speakers [1]. Also spoken in Brunei, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Indonesia (Java and Bali), Malaysia (Peninsular), Mauritius, New Zealand, Panama, Singapore, South Africa, Suriname, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, USA.
