NARWHAL: Wikimedians across North America!

There will be wiki events related to World Hearing Day, from now until March 3rd. Anyone invited to join and edit until then. For more, see Wiki4WorldHearingDay2025
[Meeting] NARWHAL/February 2025 -- NARWHAL meeting is planned for Monday evening, February 24th, at 9pm eastern time
February 14-16: WikiCredCon in San Francisco at the Internet Archive, addressing online disinformation and Wikimedia

Dates and locations are set for WCNA 2025 - Oct 16-19 2025
MediaWiki_Users_and_Developers_Conference_Spring_2025 -- May 14-16, 2025, Sandusky, Ohio, at Neil Armstrong NASA facility

We have a near-final list of member affiliates to found the North American Hub. It will be a support network, for a while, not a body making high stakes decisions. Member affiliates are listed here: Talk:North_American_Wikimedians/Hub_founding
Next steps: These groups will agree to any rephrasing of the draft agreement, and agree on a phrasing sufficient to launch. Then the unified group can agree now to include individuals and closely related organizations that are not exactly Wikimedia affiliates. And soon file for funding for small grants, perhaps.
