- WikiCredCon at Internet Archive a week ago (Peter and other attendees)
- Hub update: We have clear enough definition of members at Talk:North American Wikimedians/Hub founding to work out final phrasings to agree and launch it. Members will be chapters WM Canada, WMDC, WMNY, and user groups in Colorado, North Carolina, Los Angeles, Chicago at least, and presumably also Caribbean and Cascadia; Bay Area and Philadelphia too, if they are recognized affiliates now, and if not we'll find a form of membership for them soon. Others may join one the final definition is clear.
- We're trying to track events in a virtual "monthly" newsletter; see North American Wikimedians/News/2025-01 for example
- Other events? SWAN meetings? Wiknics? Editathons? Parties? Meetups? Salons? Please add here to announce or describe them.
- Francophone Contribution Month - Chelsea (see the etherpad notes!)
- New tools for event organizers: The Campaign Events extension is now available on English Wikipedia (according to Phabricator ticket T386290), following a Village Pump proposal - Chelsea (see Etherpad notes)
- Prospective North-American-scale teams or task forces discussed at WCNA. Do we have volunteers to start these now? -- econterms
- Task force or team to support Native American languages and wiki activities
- Several have volunteered to be on it, and we were strongly encouraged to partner with experts from universities and cultural institutions
