About the Network Archives Design and Digital Culture
NADD (Network for Archives of Design and Digital Culture) is a Dutch network dedicated to preserving Dutch design and digital culture heritage. It brings together heritage organizations, designers and design studios, research and educational institutions, experts and enthusiasts.
Together with the partners of this growing network, NADD promotes awareness of the importance of the preservation of design and digital culture heritage, works on expertise enhancement and knowledge sharing about preservation and management of design archives and digital culture. An important part of the assignment of NADD by the Dutch Ministry of Culture is to sustainably digitally connect sector collections and help make these collections accessible according to the principles of the National Strategy for Digital Heritage. NADD has formed a digital strategy for the network according to these national policies and is using Wikidata as an important instrument to implement the strategy and to help partners to reach the operational goals of the Digitaal Erfgoed Referentie Architectuur (DERA).
This page introduces NADD's Wikimedia and Wikidata activities for 2023-2025. For general information, visit the network's website.
