Autopartollers on other wikis

I think that he means the "autopatrollers" user group that doesn't exist on Punjabi Wikipedia. I think that Phabricator is the correct place to make such a thing possible, after a local concensus. --Stryn (talk) 14:05, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Requesting autopatrol

I am not considering nominating users for autopatrol after multiple warnings have been given to me, but out of curiosity, is that autopatrol should not be granted upon request? I've seen users nominating others for autopatrol on enwiki and commons, but not mata.. ToadetteEdit (talk) 06:45, 26 November 2024 (UTC)

Autopatrol serves a much different function on content wikis. Patrolling newly created articles or newly uploaded files which both serve a purpose for millions of readers is of course more important than patrolling pages on meta which are rarely read by anyone except community members.

Admins on meta can (and will) grant autopatrol to trusted users, e.g. when they see their edits in recent changes. That’s sufficient for the purpose of this wiki, the patrol feature isn’t used very much anyway on this project. --Johannnes89 (talk) 07:35, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
