Flagged Consensus seems to be quite clear here. Pathoschild knows how to operate his bots, there shouldn't be any concerns here at all. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 11:17, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Pathosbot automates various programmable tasks that I would otherwise do myself. On this wiki, it has updated links, substituted templates, and updated language request status pages. (On en-Wikisource, its past task are too numerous to list here.)
The bot is an open-source extendable C# script using AutoWikiBrowser as an editing & interface framework. The source code used for each task is frequently linked to in the task log, although it has not had many recent tasks on Meta. —{admin} Pathoschild 01:43:32, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

- Question: Are you going to updating old RfAs with it? I hope you don't, as it's been done wrong. We use {{closed request}} on RfAs, not the other template you've been adding. I'm going to have to undo all of those you changed. Majorly talk 12:23, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- The bot flag only prevents edits from flooding recent changes, it does not change the way I use Pathosbot. Since I did that task myself, I see no reason why I would do it with my bot simply because it is flagged. I also don't see how the new template is relevant here, but I started a discussion at Meta talk:Requests for adminship. —{admin} Pathoschild 23:55:59, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- I support the flagging of this bot. I assume pretty much by default that Pathoschild is aware of what he is doing. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 06:02, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
