Hi, I started patrolling here in October 2019. I frequently deal with vandals, spambots here. I believe that with sysop tools I'll be able to fight vandals quickly. I'm native speaker of Gujarati, near-native speaker of Hindi, intermediate speaker of English and I have basic understanding of some Devanagari languages. I'm not a sysop on any content wiki but I fimilar with admin tools as I'm sysop in testwikidata and some non-wikimedia wikis. I'm still learning managing abuse filters, spamblacklist, titleblacklist therefore I'm not gonna touch them until I become enough skilled to manage them. I hope that community will support me, thankyou. -- CptViraj (📧) 16:24, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
OpposeNeutral Sorry, really thank you for your help but you do not fulfill the requirement of being a sysop in wikimedia content wiki.Extremely regretful oppose.I know you had been doing a great job here patrolling and will be of a good help. If there is a consensus to allow this exception, I am willing to switch to support Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 16:33, 24 April 2020 (UTC)- FYI:This is not a request for global sysop perms.--MrJaroslavik (talk) 17:02, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
- "If a candidate is not already a local administrator or holder of advanced permissions on a Wikimedia content project, he or she is less likely to pass a request for adminship here at Meta-Wiki." @MrJaroslavik: This is what our local admin policy states. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 17:06, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
- On further thinking, I shall change to just a neutral. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 17:42, 24 April 2020 (UTC)

- Neutral. I share the same concern of Camouflaged Mirage. You don't seem to be a meta-only user or use Wikimedia as a sort of countervandalism network, however, I prefer Meta sysops to have experience with the tools on some content wiki. Like I have said previously, the goal of WMF wikis is to provide free content, and the janitorial part is necessary too but it shoulnd't be the main aim of users. I am neutral because you are doing a good job, Esteban16 (talk) 19:02, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
- Weak opposeThe fact that you don't have sysop rights in any project doesn't bother me, but I think you're not ready yet.--𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 👤💬 07:35, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose lack of sysop experience on any content project. — xaosflux Talk 16:39, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Actions on some aspects of Meta affect global projects - insufficient experience for these sort of powers sadly. --Herby talk thyme 09:48, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- Neutral per Camouflaged Mirage and Esteban16. Sorry. --TheSandDoctor Talk 19:16, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
