Kashmiri Wikimedians has supported the work of Wikimedians in Kashmiri Language and acted as a catalyst for advancing the Wikimedia movement in Kashmiri language and the broader region of Kashmir Valley. We have conducted a series of edit-a-thons previously in collaboration with other Wikimedia entities, and organised several projects related to movement strategy in . Our regular community calls have helped us realise that we lag behind in basic infrastructure and that our efforts are scattered. More recently, we started Koshur Collective, a collaborative initiative with DCW as for the development of Kashmiri language's larger digital landscape. This helped us envision development of a sustainable activity plan, which is described below.

This plan envisions activities for 4 months starting from 1 October 2024 to 31st Jan 2025; and is dynamic in nature.

Photo Events

We are tentatively planning two photo walks in which we will capture the local Kashmiri heritage and make it available on Wikimedia Commons.
