Application received

[edit]

Hello ZachMcDowell! Thank you for submitting this rapid grant request. We have received a high volume of requests, which may delay our review. We appreciate your patience and will respond to your request as soon as possible.

We will try to review it as soon as possible but given the high volume and our limited staff capacity, it will take several weeks for us to engage with you on your request. One note: could you kindly provide exact start and end dates (day and month), so that we have an idea of the duration of your proposed project?

Please check this page for additional comments and questions as we review the application and please feel free to reach out to us with questions; we are here to help with a successful grant application! Best regards, Morgan Jue (WMF) (talk) 21:26, 4 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello MJue (WMF)! This project started back around September 2018 and we have been requested to participate in raising $15k for Creative Commons Licensing, due in November 2019. I do not have an exact date for the funding. This request is a little different than most rapid grants as there is not an "event" associated with it, and we are only asking for funding for a portion of our needed resources. I appreciate this background, ZachMcDowell! For administrative purposes, I will list the dates to be 1-30 November 2019 for now. If this request is approved, we can adjust the dates as you see fit then. Thanks for the swift reply! Cheers, Morgan Jue (WMF) (talk) 21:50, 4 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Pause Application

[edit]

MJue (WMF), can we pause/hold this application? The project is facing some difficulties and reconfiguration. If necessary, we can withdraw and resubmit at another date if appropriate. -Reagle (talk) 10:34, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Reagle, and thank you for the update! You can change the status of the application to 'Draft' until it is ready to be resubmitted at a later time. Please note that we may not review any applications submitted after 15 May (today) until 1-15 June. We look forward to hearing from you in the near future! Best, Morgan Jue (WMF) (talk) 16:18, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Do I need to re-support it? Or is my initial support still sufficient? --LiAnna (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:25, 5 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Same question as LiAnna (Wiki Ed): Do we need to re-support? BobCummings (talk) 13:30, 6 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
