[edit]Hello Jadnapac, thanks for organizing the Afrocine 2019 edit-a-thon and submitting this report. I have accepted the report with the following comments and question:
Hello DSaroyan (WMF)ǃ.
- I am sorry that due to the bad weather conditions some participants did not show up and you could not achieve the initial goal
- Thank you.

- Thank you.
- Thanks for sharing the Outreach Dashboard link. I noticed that most of the created articles are stubs. Are these stubs acceptable for your community and are you planning to improve them in the future?
- Yes, stub articles are accepted. Also there are challenges of getting reliable sources to expand the articles, some times the few the available reliable sources, the shorter the article until when more sources to tell more about the topic are obtained.Hence in our community its considered a good practice putting the tag for stub articles to invite more volunteers to participate in expanding them.Jadnapac (talk) 11:16, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

- Also in the Dashboard I noticed that only 21 out of 25 participants are registered. Is there a specific reason that those 4 participants have not registered?
- Thank you for asking this. Normally the venue we use for editathons is a co-working space, hence many people can be there when we are hosting our editathon. Some are interested to participate for the intention to learn first what is going on before they decide whether they want to be part of the project. We normally do not force people to be part of the project if they haven't made up their mind, while at the same time allowing them to join us in our event.Jadnapac (talk) 11:16, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

Request to extend WLA reporting time
[edit]Hi Chris, Due to COVID-19 pandemic in our country, some of the WLA activities such as winners selection process has been delayed hence that caused the delay in reporting. I am writing to kindly ask for extension on the reporting time up to 03rd July 2020. Thanks for your understanding and we hope to do all we can for the report to be ready until that time. Thanksǃ Jadnapac (talk) 11:32, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Jadnapac: Hello Antoni, and thanks for your extension request. This report has already been submitted and accepted though-- did you mean to request this for Grants:Project/Rapid/Wikimedia Community User Group Tanzania/Wiki Loves Africa Tanzania 2020? I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 14:29, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
Hi I JethroBT (WMF), thank you for seeing this, I think I overlooked the link, it was intended for WLA 2020 . I will go ahead and post it to the correct place. Thank you.--Jadnapac (talk) 20:28, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
