Hi Dennis6492. Thank you and the organizing team for submitting this grant request. We are excited to hear how the multiple events go and how you can continue this partnership with the university. Our main concern is around continuing to engage participants after the event. Having online mentors to follow-up is a great idea as well as signing people up to a mailing list or Facebook group. Grant end date extension

I kindly request a grant end date extension, due to unforeseen political, social and economical instability, and widespread demonstrations in our country, the event had to be cancelled, we tried to reschedule it, but it had to be cancelled again. The new tentative date we have is September 22nd 2017, hoping the country has settled by then. Hi Dennis6492. Thank you for the update and I'm sorry the current situation in Venezuela has been so incredibly challenging. The fact that you are continuing to plan activities is a testimony to your commitment to the Wikimedia movement! The new end date will be September 22, 2017. The report will be due October 22, 2017.
