Project Review

Hello Indic Hackathon organizers,

Congratulations on what appears to have been a successful and enjoyable event! It is great to see the tasks you completed and photos you submitted.

We have one note based on your feedback that it was challenging to encourage participants to join the online global event. The adjudication committee highlighted this challenge as a concern with your original proposal, because the events you planned overlapped with the online hours of the global event. During the Asia-Pacific core hours of the event, few if any of your participants joined the online space, leaving online Asian participants without many other participants to talk to. As a result, the Indic meetup appeared more like its own separate event and not as a part of the global Hackathon during that time. It seems like you are already brainstorming ways to solve this challenge in the future! If you participate in other hybrid events, please make sure to coordinate and communicate clearly with online organizers to make sure events can be more connected and Indic participants can meet other hackers from around the world.

That said, it appears you had a well-organized and fun weekend. Thank you for your hard work!
