[edit]Support. I think this project is important as a means of documenting EuroPride 2024 and increasing the coverage of LGBTQ+ and adjacent topics in the Greek language; hopefully this might also prompt translations of content into other languages of the region. It builds on previous Wiki Loves Pride projects, including the Wiki Loves Pride in Sport project funded by Wikimedia CH last year. It will also build on the momentum from the recent legalisation of same-sex marriage in Greece, which might hopefully allow the organisers to introduce LGBTQ+ campaigners to the Wikimedia Movement as new contributors.
I would like to see a little more clarity in the budget, but this can be achieved during discussions, after the looming submissions deadline. The amount being requested is small, so that the budget is unpolished does not feel like a problem for me at this stage.
I look forward to working with the team on behalf of Wikimedia LGBT+, and coordinating with other Wiki Loves Pride activities we hope to organise, with other affiliates, throughout 2024. — OwenBlacker (Talk; he/him) 13:12, 20 February 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Strong support I think this project is very important and worths an approval. In Greece, same sex marriage was legalised, and this is a good momentum to improve the presence of LGBT+ content and editors.
The project looks promising, as LGBT editing has been historically low in Greek Wikipedia and it's a prime opportunity to increase the participation of LGBT+ editors in Greek Wikipedia.
I am also planning to work on a group of LGBT+ editors in Greek Wikipedia in a move to increase diversity among the editors in Greek and that would be very helpful as the project can help to increase diversity in Greek Wikipedia. Much like Owen, I am also ready to work with the team. NikosLikomitros (talk) 14:13, 20 February 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Support. This will be continuing the work we started last year with the europride.I really want to encourage the grantee to have a sound project page with clear meetups and welcoming participants on board as well a a clear agenda of events and a working list. I also hope that there will be a calm dedicated place with internet and electricity to enable participants to contribute during Europride. Support Closing the LGBT+ content gap is an ongoing task that aligns with the Movement strategy of providing for safety and inclusion. Inclusion must come to not only contributors to the movement but also to LGBT+ readers who might feel identified by the content we provide. I am confident the proposal's plan to join the WMLGBT+ user group and WM Greece chapter's efforts will surely help deliver the expected outcomes.
