Not Funded[edit]

Hello @Taofeeq Abdulkareem Thank you for applying for the Rapid Fund grant. We reviewed your application and after a careful consideration, have decided to not fund this application at this time for the following reasons:

  • There are team members who are currently blocked from editing, which makes the application ineligible for funding at this time. It is important to ensure that all team members are in good standing if you would like to be considered for funding in the future.
  • The project budget is high compared to the modest impact objectives of the project.
  • Finally, for projects of this nature it is important for project teams to demonstrate close collaboration with the existing community as this is critical for achieving success on language Wiki projects. It will also help ensure that there is effective sustainable development for participants. We have learned that previous participants have unintentionally caused disruptions. Therefore, offering long-term and sustainable training and guidance is essential for success. This kind of training support is therefore best done by and through a structured community.
