Thanks for sharing this idea! I don't really understand how this proposal connects to Wikimedia, exactly - would you be using content from Wikipedia, but sharing it with people who did not have access to Wikipedia before, or something else entirely? As you're continuing to develop your proposal, it would be great to have more information to help us understand the connection between Wikimedia and this idea. I would also encourage you to review the information about eligibility and selection for grants in this program as you're continuing to develop this proposal. Best wishes to you all! Doesn't appear to meet the eligibility criteria

Thanks for submitting this idea :-) Unfortunately, it does not appear to meet the eligibility criteria for an Individual Engagement Grant project - namely, that projects should improve Wikimedia's existing websites. So, I've marked the status as ineligible in its current state. Feel free to keep working on this draft and resubmit at a later time as you're able to clarify how these internships would have concrete impact on a site like Wikipedia or otherwise directly contribute to our mission.
